Combine PDF files without sending the full documents to a merge server
The PdfRecast merge tool reads supported PDFs in the browser, shows the selected documents, and creates one output file in the order you choose. This is useful for assembling related records while keeping the merge operation on the device.
How to use this workflow
- Select two or more PDF files from your device.
- Review the file order and move documents into the sequence required for the final packet.
- Create the merged PDF in the browser and download the result.
- Open the downloaded file and check the first and last page of every source document.
Before merging
Merge does not automatically make page sizes, orientations, bookmarks, forms, or accessibility tags consistent. A combined file can contain a mixture of portrait and landscape pages or different page dimensions.
Encrypted, restricted, damaged, or very large PDFs may fail or exceed available browser memory. Work from copies, keep the originals, and merge smaller batches if the browser has limited memory.
